Kuris Duggan NASM-CPT, PBC
Kuris helps clients build strength, improve mobility, and enhance long-term health through structured resistance training.
As a former NCAA Division I athlete, Kuris experienced firsthand the impact that strength and conditioning can have on performance, resilience, and overall health. Resistance training has remained a central part of his life and has played a key role in transforming his own physique and physical capabilities.
Kuris’ primary objective is to meet clients where they are and help them make steady, sustainable progress toward their goals. He works with individuals of all ages and experience levels—from those stepping into the gym for the first time to those looking to build strength, improve body composition, and move with greater strength and confidence in daily life.
Kuris emphasizes proper movement mechanics, progressive strength development, and sustainable training habits in coaching. He believes strength training should support long-term health-span and longevity, helping clients build the strength and resilience needed to stay active and independent throughout life.
His training philosophy emphasizes discipline, consistency, and evidence-based strength training, believing that intentional effort over time builds strong minds and bodies.
Kuris holds certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Physique & Bodybuilding Coach (PBC). He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning from Texas A&M University to further expand his knowledge of exercise science and human performance.

Dr. David Herman DC, CCSP, CCEP
As part of Dr. Herman’s clinical training, at some of our nation’s most prestigious military medical centers, he had the distinct pleasure of serving both those on active duty as well as veterans. Dr. Herman provided chiropractic care in an integrated setting to our injured troops returning from deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. He worked closely with neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, internists, physical therapists, and other disciplines in improving the lives of our nation’s heroes.
“While the need for surgeons was critical and obvious, the need of conservative care such as chiropractic after multiple surgeries was also a vital part of our wounded warriors’ recovery. I also took great pleasure when surgeons’ referrals to our clinic would result in the resolution of patients’ ailments, thus preventing the need for surgery. With the rising need for conservative care of non-traumatic musculoskeletal injuries in the military, chiropractic care is a natural fit.” —-Dr. Herman
During this time, Dr. Herman also had the opportunity to provide care to the U.S. Naval Academy football team.
Dr. Herman then completed board certification as a chiropractic sports physician, which allows him to better evaluate, treat, manage, and prevent sports-related injuries/chronic pain. Both personally and professionally, Dr. Herman understands the desire to remain active, but if pain or dysfunction ensue, the desire to return to training/competition quickly.
During his time in North Carolina (2013-16), in addition to being in private practice, Dr. Herman served as the team chiropractic physician for all athletics at NC A&T State University. He enjoyed working closely with team physicians and athletic trainers to get players back on the field and excelling at their sport.
Simply put, Dr. Herman enjoys anything active. He especially enjoys cycling (road and mountain), running, triathlons, crossfit, and golf. He enjoys pushing himself and this has led to a love for ultramarathons, endurance mountain bike races, and to effectively accomplish these, smart nutrition. Hannah Rastatter MS, RD, LD
Hannah is a Registered Dietitian licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio. She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in food and nutrition sciences. To earn her RD credential, she completed over 1,000 hours of supervised practice through a dietetic internship and passed the national registration exam through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Prior to joining the team at Ohio Sport & Spine, in her hospital-based background, she delivered medical nutrition therapy to support patient care, including collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in the acute care setting.
As a marathoner, she is especially passionate about the nutrition demands of training, performance, and recovery. She’s a proud Ohio University alumna, where she had the privilege of working with collegiate athletes across a variety of sports—providing individual and team-based nutrition guidance that translates science into practical, performance-enhancing strategies.
Her mission is to help active individuals reach their full potential through purposeful, strategic fueling. Using an evidence-based approach, she tailors nutrition plans to meet the unique demands of each athletes’ sport and lifestyle. Her goal is to help you fuel smarter, train harder, and live a strong, balanced life.
